PRESIDENT’S REPORT- 2010/2011
The past year has been a struggle for non-profit service agencies throughout the province. Like all boards of non-profit agencies, our board has been concerned with developing ongoing
financial support for our programs. Our motivation has always been to continue to provide our first-rate volunteers, contractors, and staff with the resources they need to continue to provide the finest quality of services available to families. We on the board are not remotely tempted to congratulate ourselves for having weathered another difficult year. The reality, expressed continually by our funders, is that our staff, contractors, and volunteers are known throughout the service community for their professionalism and compassion. British Columbia Families in Transition is also recognized by the granting agencies for our unrivalled productivity and professional management.
